ETher NDE introduces the next generation of ACFMT inspection technology - the ACE.
ETher NDE, a leader in advanced eddy current and electromagnetic inspection technologies, is proud to announce the launch of ACE, the next generation of portable Alternating Current Field Measurement Technology (ACFMT). The ACE combines cutting-edge NDT capabilities with a lightweight and rugged design to provide industry with an efficient, easy-to-use tool for superior inspection results.
The ACE instrument offers all the power and precision of traditional ACFMT technology but in a compact, portable instrument without compromising on performance. With a range of standard and bespoke probes, with two probes included in a standard kit, ACE is equipped to handle a diverse array of industrial applications, from routine inspections to complex assessments and is backed by a Standard Two-Year warranty.
Based on eddy current principles, ACE induces a uniform current within the test material surface. It measures changes in these currents to detect and characterize surface-breaking defects, measuring the length and depth with consistent accuracy.
ACE’s inspection software has been optimised to work seamlessly with the hardware, making inspections simpler, faster and more efficient. Probes are auto-recognised and deliver real-time feedback providing the operator live scanning status and configuration details, so an inspection can be monitored every step of the way, whilst all Scan Data is stored for full audit tracking. The accompanying Desktop Software enables in-depth analysis of scan data and the creation of bespoke, client-specific reports, complete with defect sizes, locations, and detailed inspection data.
